Swimming Carnival

On Friday, it is safe to say that we had a fantastic day!! The children's behaviour was outstanding and their team and school spirit was once again demonstrated. The student's pride and famous St Joseph's sportsmanship was clearly present with students congratulating other team members with a hand shake or pat on the back as well as supporting their own team mates with encouragement and gentleness.
For a teacher watching, it gave me a warm feeling to be part of such a wonderful school.
Prior to the carnival I reminded the year four students that they are representing not only their school, team but also their class and I am proud to say, 'Well Done, Year Fours, You Rock!!! you should all be proud of your behaviour and sportsmanship.
I should probably mention the winner, drum roll, please.......MacKillop, but it is fair to say on the day you were all winners.
