Book Week
This week we are celebrating Book Week at our school. Last night we had a storytelling night, which was a huge success. We had a sausage sizzle, listened to some great stories and enjoyed a milo and a biscuit. Today we dressed up as our favourite book character and had a school parade.

The New Year 3 Class
Hello, Finally we have managed to update our profile and introduce ourselves. We are the new Yr 3 class which make up the Blogbusters. We have 28 students in our class this year, 4 of which are new to our school. This term we have a student teacher in our class called Miss B.
So much has happened so far this year:
~ some of us celebrated our First Reconciliation last term
~ we are already training for the school cross country which will be held on the last day of term.
~ we are still supporting our adoptive orang-utans, this term we are participating in a competition to help save the rainforests.
~ we are focusing on the topic of Farming this term, we have already made some wonderings which we hope to discover through our guest speakers and Barb Babes visit. We are having a farm day at school where will start the day with a farm breakfast, animals will visit and we will have a barn dance.
~ Next Thursday is Sorry Day, we will celebrate by beginning the day with a special service and by wearing the Aboriginal colours - black, red and yellow.
We promise to keep you updated on our class work more regularly from now on :)
