Term 3,

Welcome back everyone!! Our theme this term is life and living. Our learning experiences will include activities on all creatures great and small, this will include a look inside W.A forests.
Literacy will again include the Daily 5 strategies as well as various genre writing activities, in particular descriptive and persuasive writing as well as note taking whilst watching BTN.
During numeracy we will be looking at fractions and probability, we will also continue to work on number, measurement and 3d shapes. An exciting event happening this term is our class assembly in week 6, we are already brainstorming ideas and getting very excited about performing in front of the whole school. We will keep you informed in regards to our assembly and as we get closer to the day, notes will go home with specific details. Lastly there are a few links that have been added to our blog which match our theme, make sure you check them out and as per usual we will endeavour to add our learning experiences on a weekly basis, so be sure to keep checking us out. Welcome back and I hope you all had a great holiday and are ready for another exciting term in our wonderful Year Four class.
